I just finished these blankets and I am really happy with how the green one turned out. I was a little bit nervous about how dark the brown edge is. However, it turned out great.
The next one is the pink and yellow one that I am working on. The pinks are a lot of scraps of strawberry shortcake and the yellows are just a contrast color. I haven't quite figured out what color to put on the border. I think that a yellow would be too much and with a pink you have to decide the shade of pink. If I can find one that matches the darkest solid pink scrap, I think that I will use it. That pink is a contrast to the brightness of the blanket but won't be to dark and be a distraction.
